Maulik Siddhant

This department is the first and most important Department of Ayurveda.The Department is concerned with basic principles of Ayurveda which are described in classical texts. It has unique library loaded with Samhitas ,all Vedas and Sanskrit books.Students are not only taught Sanskrit but all the abovesaid basic texts of Ayurveda.

Rachna Sharir

The museum of the department is having models,charts,specimens,skeleton and dummies.The specimens prepared from the cadavers is the beauty of our museum. Cadaver tub and cadavers are made available in our well equipped dissection hall .

Sharir Kriya

The Department deals with normal functioning of human body and its parts.The section of Kriya Sharir is involved in study of scientific basis of saptadhatus,tridoshas and deha-manasprakriti.The scientific evaluation of Tridosha has great importance from stand point of Diagnosis and Therapy.This Department is also carrying out work on Psychosomatic basis of healh and Diseases.

Apparatus and equipments required to teach human physiology to the students are available in its laboratory Models ,Specimens and Departmental Library are there for teaching aids.Practical Physiological demonstrations are given to the students.

DravyaGuna Vigyan

The department is well furnished with museum having rich collection of various drugs of plants origin, animal origin and minerals too. Pharmacological studies, macroscopic and microscopic studies of various medicinal plants is the important feature of this department. Unique herbal garden is well maintained to educate the students . An educational trip is organized every year to aquaint the students with herbs of different areas also.

Ras Shastra

Our Ras Shastra department is equipped with Pharmacy (Manufacturing Unit),Analytical Labortary, a store house for raw herbs and prepared products.Here the students are taught to prepare pure Ayurvedic medicines.Pure herbal ,herbomineral and mineral(bhasmas)products-Churna,Vati,Sharbat,Avaleh(Chyavanprash),Taila etc. are prepared to educate the students and also made available to hospital and general public at economical rates.

Agad Tantra

The department has well equipped museum having charts,models, specimens and educational CDs related to Poisons and Forensic Medicine. It has departmental library to inculcate the ancient and latest knowledge in students.

Swasthvritta

Department is well equipped with all models and charts related to swasthavritta and yog. It has adopted five villages under swach bharat abhiyaan to guide the students about the importance of hygiene in maintaining the health.Heath check up camps are organised in the surrounding areas by this department.

Rog Nidan

Two laboratories are maintained ,one is for the the students and second is linked with hospital for clinical investigations.Haematology,Biochemistry ,Microbiology,X-Ray Wing and Ultrasonography sections of this department are giving economical services to the society.Duly qualified pathologist and laboratory technician look after it.

Prasuti Tantra

The department has well furnished infrastructure with models and manikins for normal deliveries and gynaecological examination. Departmental library with all ayurvedic and modern books of gynae are also available . A well equipped Operation Theatre and Labor room and trained staff is attached with this department.

Kaumar Bhritya

This department deals with the study of normal growth and diseases related to children. Department has charts and models of various diseases related to children. Vaccination facility is also available.

Kaya Chikitsa

The department has well furnished infrastructure with models and charts on various diseases.Well maintained Departmental library is there.

Shalya Tantra

Shalya Tantra is the main branch of Ashtang Ayurveda which deals with the study of disorders requiring surgical interventions.The department is well equipped with latest clinical models, charts and departmental library with latest and Ancient Ayurvedic texts for students. The department is also having both OT and minor OT and high-tech computer system with printer.

Shalakya Tantra

This department deals with the diseases of Head,Neck, ENT and Eye. The charts and models required are available. Department has well equipped library and computer system.

Panch Karma

This department has well maintained departmental library and various charts and models.All the five karmas are being performed on the patients.

LIBRARY

*College Library is enriched with more than ten thousand books on Ayurvedic sciences and modern medicine.

*Magazines and generals are also available to update the students and the teaching staff.

*Seating capacity of seventy students and separate seating arrangement for teachers is there.

*Ample airy space and lighting arrangements are there for the comfortability of students and teachers.

*Computer for internet surfing,photocopier is also available for the library.

TEACHING PHARMACY

Pharmacy is the part of Ras Shastra Deptt.The students are imparted training in manufacturing of Ayurvedic products .The pharmacy provides pure and good quality products at cheaper rates.

HERBAL GARDEN

Herbal garden is the integral feature of the college.The garden is spread in an acre of land having various type of herbs ,shrubs and trees .Students are given knowledge about the medicinal properties of these plants ,their cultivation practices, knowledge of their habitat, ,their useful efficacious parts etc.Students observe these plants in various seasons and they learn about their fruiting and flowering stages.Three gardeners are there to take care of this precious garden.

Rudraksh,Aragvadh,Gular,Kadamb,Giloy,Neem,Mahaneem,Parijat,Kachnar,Karanj are the very few names from medicinalplants and more than ten fruit varieties are available in this garden.

 

HOSTEL

Fully furnished 60 bedded girls hostel with mess facility,wifi enabled reading room,entertainment room,round the clock gate security is available inside the campus located at the heart of the city.
